As I’m writing this I’m waiting for my train to work (super delayed) and I’m already late ……this has been my life for the past WEEK! It feels like Groundhog Day honestly………nothing seems to be going right.
Last night our power was going in and out all night, yesterday I got stuck in my elevator, a few days before that I set off my smoke alarm while making breakfast, and my train has had significant delays all week. I told my coworkers that no matter what I do- it seems like I can’t make it to work on time.
Weeks like this absolutely SUCK. I feel like I need to go get a curse lifted or something. Obviously I can’t actually do that, BUT what I can do is take some extra self care time. Taking time to workout, reminding myself of what I have to be thankful for, getting the right amount of sleep, and catching up with friends I haven’t seen in awhile have been excellent so I don’t actually lose my mind. 😂
The most important thing to remember is that this will pass and life will reset itself. In the meantime it’s important to take care of yourself! Everyone please wish me luck as I have been stuck on this unmoving train for 15 minutes now ……..
